Phoenix Center offers counseling for individuals who have no insurance, insurance that doesn’t cover counseling costs, and those who cannot afford their co-pay. Clinical Counselor Rachael Gardner Purdy, LIDC, LSW, LCP, is taking new clients at this time. Counseling services are for LGBTQ+ individuals and family members. yOUTh Group

The yOUTh Group is for LGBTQA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning youth and allies) individuals ages 13-17.  The purpose of the group is to provide a safe environment to meet people, make new friends, and learn about and discuss other issues of interest. This is both a social and educational group with snacks, discussions and activities weekly. 

This group meets every Friday night at 6 p.m.

The Transgender Support Group is for adult transgender men and women.

Bi-Sexual Group

The Bi-Sexual Group is for bi-sexual adults. The purpose of the group is to bring individuals together to discuss issues, share services and information, and meet other like-minded people.

TransParent Group

The TransParent Group is for parents of children who identify as transgender and/or gender non-binary. In this group you will find other parents dealing with the same issues, questions, and struggles as well as those looking for ways to better support their child(ren) and to advocate on their behalf. This group, a  member of TransParent USA, meets from 6:30-8 pm the first Monday of the month via Zoom.

Step Into Recovery Group

The Step Into Recovery Group is for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies struggling with alcohol, chemical or process addiction(s). Join us every Thursday night at 5:30 pm. To get more information on the group, including the location, contact Andy at andy.phoenixcenter@gmail.com.

Neurodiverse Group

The Neurodiverse Group is for neurodivergent LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to socialize, discuss their unique challenges, and build skills for personal growth and mindfulness.
