How Can We Help?

The Phoenix Center offers a variety of groups and services. Since opening in 2001, many services have been added and the staff and board are constantly monitoring the community in terms of needs. If there is a group or service that you would like to see added, please let us know!

Billy’s House

Billy’s House is a transitional housing program for homeless men and women who are HIV+. Intake by appointment. Adults only.

PC3 Housing

PC3 is a 3 unit transitional housing program for homeless LGBTQ individuals.  Intake by appointment. Adults only.

FREE testing

The Center offers free HIV, HCV and STD testing and referrals. M-F 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. or by appointment.

SHaRI ProJECT

Springfield Harm Reduction Initiative project allows us to reach out to those using injection drugs. M-F 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. or by appointment.

Phoenix 2U

For those living outside the City of Springfield or without transportation we deliver harm reduction supplies and Narcan and we can bring testing to you as well. Call for 2U services.

LGBTQ  yOUTh Group

A support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and queer youth and their allies ages 13-17. Meets every Friday from 6-9pm.

TranSupport Group

A group for transgender individuals, their partners, family members, and friends. Meets the third Thursday of every month 6:30-8pm.

TransParent Group

A group for parents of transgender children (of any age). Meets the first Monday of every month 6:30-8pm.

Education Programs

We provide a variety of education programs to junior & senior high and college students as well as professional in-service trainings and presentations to civic groups. Professional in-service trainings are available to learn more about LGBTQ specific terminology, issues, medical disparities, and what you can do to create change.
